Dear Albuquerque Chapter Members,

My name is Jeff Roybal, and I am a Manager with Baker Tilly. I have been a member of AGA for several years and currently serve as President-Elect and Community Service Co-Chair for the Albuquerque Chapter. I have served on the CEC in various roles throughout my time with AGA and will step into the role of Chapter President in the upcoming year.

I initially joined the CEC to become more connected with my peers and to expand my professional network. As Community Service Chair, I especially enjoy the opportunity to give back to our community. This past August, we hosted a school supply drive supporting New Mexico Kids Matter, an organization that advocates for children who have been abused or neglected by empowering community volunteers to speak up for them within the foster care system. We also participated in the annual UNM Cancer Challenge Run, a community fundraiser that supports the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center in delivering high-quality cancer care right here in New Mexico.

More recently, we organized a toy drive benefiting Peanut Butter & Jelly, an organization focused on strengthening families by promoting positive parent-child relationships, supporting healthy child development, enhancing family safety, and increasing access to community-based programs.

These efforts—though small—make a meaningful difference in our community. We are always open to suggestions and are continuously looking for new ways to create opportunities to give back.

I look forward to meeting new members at this year’s Professional Development Training. As a reminder, AGA members receive a registration discount for PDT, and adding new members from your organization can help increase those savings.

Please feel free to reach out to me—I look forward to connecting and working together to achieve our membership growth goals.

Best regards,
Jeff Roybal
